We looked high and low to find a weighted blanket that measured just right for your massage table.
HOW DO WEIGHTED BLANKETS HELP?
Weighted blankets provide pressure, which causes the brain to release neurotransmitters, such as dopamine and serotonin. This results in a calming effect, which can help with mood-stabilizing.
Having the option of using a weighted blanket during some massage sessions can be a great way to help those clients who need a little extra TLC.
Try it next time you have a very talkative client - the weight really helps to calm and quieten down a busy mind Weighted blankets have been shown to reduce anxiety and increase the relaxation response perfect combination when incorporating massage.
Most blankets are sized too big for a massage table and so most of it drapes either side where you lose the benefit of the weight - you want the weight on your client not either side of the table. This also makes it challenging when draping - it will feel as though you are lifting weights!
Our size fits over your massage table with a little extra on each side which soon gets taken up when your client gets under the sheets - so draping is a breeze with just the sheets to worry about - no heavy blanket!

Care Instructions: Wash by hand or machine wash on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Dry on low, or drip dry.
